Song Kang has reportedly purchased a luxury apartment in the Seongsu dong area of Seoul, South Korea. The South Korean actor purchased the apartment for 6.7 billion won ($5.1 million).
According to property industry and Supreme Court records, on December 17, 2025, Song Kang purchased a 227-square-meter apartment. The luxury apartment is located in Seoul Forest Hillstate, Seongsu-dong, Seongdong District.
The property was purchased last June and completed its registration last month. This also marks the most expensive property purchase since the area sold several apartments. Seoul Forest Hillstate is a luxury apartment complex and one of Korea's most upscale residential neighborhoods.
Many celebrities already own property in the area, including actors Namgoong Min and Lee Sang Yoon, Eric and Yook Sungjae, and former baseball player Park Chan Ho. Meanwhile, Song Kang had previously completed his mandatory military service on October 1 after serving as an active soldier in the Army for 18 months.
After his military service, Song Kang immediately became busy with various activities in the entertainment world. One day after his military service, Namoo Actors, his agency, announced the 2025 Song Kang Fanmeeting 'ROUND 2' in Seoul as a way to express his longing for his fans.
Song Kang is also currently busy with his latest Korean drama project, Four Hands, which will air in 2026. He will star opposite Lee Jun Young. The drama follows the life journey of two men from their teenage years to adulthood as professional musicians.
