Jessie J recently announced on her Instagram account that she has officially recovered from cancer. Previously, the "Price Tag" singer was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent surgery.
Jessie J uploaded the touching news via an Instagram Reels video on Thursday (May 21, 2026). "THE RESULTS ARE IN AND I AM CANCER FREEI cried so hard for hours and then breathed a sigh of relief for the first time in a year," Jessie J wrote.
According to USA Today , Jessie J was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in June 2025. At that time, she was promoting her album, Don't Tease Me With A Good Time. Jessie J also told fans that she had undergone repeated tests and underwent surgery at the end of the month.
"Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm sticking with the word 'early stage,'" she told her followers at the time, adding on her Instagram Story, "Honestly, I need to process it and talk about it and I need hugs. You guys have loved me through all my good times and my bad.
And I don't want this to be any different." In July 2025, Jessie announced that she had received results showing the cancer had not spread, although she said she still needed treatment and would need to undergo more surgery.
