Jeong Sewoon will soon begin his mandatory military service. The talented musician is scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier this month. The news was announced directly by his agency, CAMWUS, in an official statement.
The agency announced that Jeong Sewoon will enlist as an active duty soldier in the Republic of Korea Army starting June 23, 2026. To maintain order and public safety, the agency has decided not to release details of the artist's enlistment location or time.
"In accordance with the artist's wishes, the location and time of his enlistment will not be disclosed, and no official events will be held on the day of his enlistment," a CAMWUS representative said in a written statement. The agency also urged fans, known as LUCKY, not to visit the venue out of respect for the privacy of the other recruits and their families.
The military enlistment ceremony was emphasized as a private event, attended only by fellow recruits and close relatives. However, the agency confirmed that fans can still send letters of support to Jeong Sewoon through the mechanism specified on their official fan cafe.
At the end of their announcement, CAMWUS asked for fans' understanding and continued support for Jeong Sewoon while he fulfills his national duties. The agency hopes the singer will complete his service well and return to the entertainment industry in good health.
