Park Shin Hye is confirmed to return to greet viewers in the second season of the fantasy drama 'The Judge from Hell'. This announcement was officially conveyed by Studio S CEO, Hong Sung Chang, at the SBS DRAMA: NEXT EPISODE media day event held in Seoul on June 1, 2026.

On the occasion, Hong Sung Chang revealed that Park Shin Hye, who is currently pregnant, has agreed to reprise her role as the main character in the drama's sequel, which is scheduled to air next year.

In addition to confirming the return of 'The Judge from Hell', SBS also revealed the lineup of top dramas that will grace the screen until early 2027. For the second half of 2026, SBS has prepared 'Agent Kim Reactivated', 'Flex x Cop 2', 'Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia', 'Good Partner 2', and 'Nine to Six'.

Meanwhile, for the first half of next year, SBS will air 'Excitatio', 'The Long Shot Trial', 'Nightmare', and 'Full Count'. A surprise came during the closing session when the CEO of Studio S revealed two new projects that had not been previously announced to the public for the 2027 lineup. 

In addition to the second season of 'The Judge from Hell' starring Park Shin Hye, SBS also announced a drama titled 'Dash' which will feature actress Shin Hae Sun in the lead role. The Judge from Hell is a romantic fantasy drama that captivated viewers thanks to its unique storyline. 

Park Shin Hye plays Kang Bit Na, a demon from hell who possesses the body of a judge. The story's dynamics focus on Kang Bit Na's journey after meeting the empathetic detective Han Da On, played by Kim Jae Yeong. This encounter marks a turning point for the demon as she transforms into a true judge.
