South Korean actor, Ahn Bo Hyun returns with a thrilling action-packed drama, "Flex x Cop 2," which is slated to premiere on August 7, 2026. In the drama, he plays Jin Yi Soo, a detective who is also a third-generation chaebol heir.
Together with his partner, Joo Hye Ra, played by Jung Eun Chae, they will face various challenges abroad. The latest teaser for Episode 1 shows Jin Yi Soo and her team, including Park Joon Young (Kang Sang Jun) and Choi Kyung Jin (Kim Shin Bi), on an international mission aboard a luxury private jet.
They attempt to disguise themselves as a mariachi band to approach a group of suspects at a crowded pub. When one of the criminals asks his partner to pay the “band” to leave, Park Joon Young responds sharply, “You don’t have any money?
Then, where did the 100 billion won you stole go?” Choi Kyung Jin then reveals that they are officers from Violent Crimes Unit 1. When the gang leader is shocked and asks, “You really followed us all the way here?”
Jin Yi Soo replies, “Of course! Why did you have to come all this way? Because of you, I had to rent this place and even fly in on a private jet!” The situation escalates as a brawl ensues between the detectives and the criminals, resulting in the arrest of all three suspects.
However, tensions escalate when the gang leader suddenly pulls out a gun, fires a single bullet into the sky, and then points it at Jin Yi Soo, asking, "Do you want to die?" This drama promises thrilling action and suspenseful intrigue.
With a proven lead star like Ahn Bo Hyun, fans are eagerly anticipating the premiere. "Flex x Cop 2" will air every Friday and Saturday night on SBS, starting Friday August 7, 2026, at 9:50 p.m. KST.
