Seventeen is confirmed to continue its activities as a 13-member group under the Pledis Entertainment agency, as all members unanimously agreed to extend their contracts with the agency for the second time.
Pledis Entertainment announced this happy news for Seventeen fans on Monday (July 13, 2026). The agency stated that it had reached an agreement with the members to renew their contracts.
"We have reached an agreement with all 13 members of Seventeen to sign a second contract extension," said Pledis Entertainment in a statement, citing Allkpop, on Tuesday (July 14, 2026). The agency explained that all members not currently serving in the military have completed their contract signing process.
Meanwhile, members still serving will sign their contracts in stages, depending on their individual circumstances and schedule. The Seventeen members also shared the reasons behind their decision to resume their collaboration with Pledis Entertainment.
"With the belief that there is nothing we can't do if we are together, and we want to go further as a team, the thirteen of us decided to stay together," said the group that sang the hits Pretty U and Very Nice.
This contract extension is the second for Seventeen, as all members previously extended their contracts with the agency in 2021. Since their debut in 2015, this top group in the K-Pop industry has maintained its full lineup of 13 members without any changes.
