Honor V40 5G smartphone was officially launched in the country on 22nd January 2021. The smartphone comes with a 6.72-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,236x2676 pixels.
Honor V40 5G runs on Android 11 operating system. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM and is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery. The Honor V40 5G supports proprietary fast charging.
The Honor V40 5G on the rear packs a 50-megapixel primary camera; a second 8-megapixel camera and a third 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
Honor V40 5G runs Magic UI 4.0 based on Android 11 operating system and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The Honor V40 5G is a dual-SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.
Connectivity options on the Honor V40 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB OTG, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) with active 4G on both SIM cards.
Sensors on the Honor V40 5G include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone supports face unlock. It was launched in Magic Night Black, Rose Gold, and Titanium Silver colours.
