Manila, Philippines - A local telecommunications company has tapped three of Thailand’s most popular actors to become its brand ambassadors in the Philippines.
Philippine mobile prepaid brand TNT announced that it has signed on Thai actors Nonkul Chanon, Gulf Kanawut, and superstar Mario Maurer as its newest endorsers.
The three, who are among Thailand’s biggest stars, will join Filipino stars Sarah Geronimo and Sue Ramirez for the brand’s “Kilig Saya” campaign, Smart said in a statement to media announced.
Nonkul Chanon is best known for the movie Bad Genius, a heist thriller that was a Thai top grosser in 2017. Gulf Kanawut starred in the hit 2019 boys love series TharnType The Series an adaptation of a popular Thai web novel.
Mario Maurer is best known among the three in the Philippines. The actor first burst onto the international scene with the coming-of-age movie Love of Siam in 2007 and starred in the 2010 hit A Little Thing Called Love and “Pee Mak.”
Mario also starred in the hit Star Cinema Filipino movie Suddenly It's Magic in 2012 along with actress Erich Gonzales.
