Realme has been announced the launch of a new budget smartphone in China along with its flagship Realme GT Neo. Dubbed as Realme V13, the handset might launch in India as the Realme 8 5G.
The Realme V13 5G offers a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display also supports a 90Hz screen refresh rate along with 600nits brightness.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that is clocked at 2.2GHz and comes loaded with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The device packs 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The memory is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
The Realme V13 features a triple-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The setup is accompanied by a 2MP B&W sensor and 2MP 4cm, macro shooter, with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the Realme V13 features an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with support for Hi-Res Audio. The smartphone runs on Android 11 operating system with realme UI 2.0 on top of it. It also features a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, USB Type-C port, and dual-SIM support. The phone measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.5 mm and weighs 176 grams.
Realme V13 5G price in China starts at CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 17,900) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage option. The phone also comes with another variant that offers 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage for CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 20,000). It is available in Black and Azure Blue colour options.
