Huawei has expanded its budget smartphone portfolio with the launch of its latest smartphone -- Huawei Y7a. The handset is said to be the rebranded version of the Huawei P Smart 2021 handset which the company launched recently. The device sports a quad-rear camera setup and comes with a punch-hole display.
The Huawei Y7a comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. Successor to the last year launched Y7a. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the company's own octa-core Kirin 710A processor.
As for storage, The smartphone packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. In terms of OS software, the device runs on Android 10 operating system built on EMUI.
As for the cameras, Huawei Y7a smartphone a quad-rear camera setup. The rear camera comprises a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor. The handset comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor
The smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. It does not come with Google Play services and instead of that you get Huawei's own App Gallery which can be used to download third party apps.
In terms of price and colour options, the Huawei Y7a comes with a starting price tag of MYR 799 (Rs 14,200). The customers can purchase the smartphone in Blush Gold, Crush Green and Midnight Black colour options.
