Lee Heeseung has come up with an update after leaving the Korean group ENHYPEN in early March 2026. His career will now focus on being an independent solo artist and will step down from all ENHYPEN activities.

During his last fan call some time ago, Heeseung directly informed his fans that he would soon be returning to the music industry. He is currently working on a new album. The 2001-born Korean singer also expressed his sincere gratitude for the continued support and love he has received from his fans.

After his sudden departure from ENHYPEN which caused a stir on social media, Heeseung again attracted public attention after launching a new Instagram account on April 8, 2026. The account featured uploads in the form of profile videos and a series of slideshow photos with unique visuals.

As reported by allkpop, Heeseung will begin his solo career under the stage name "EVAN." This name is already familiar to ENGENEs, the nickname for ENHYPEN fans, as it's often referred to as Lee Heeseung's Western name.

Heeseung's Instagram content is minimalist yet artistic. The post consists of four close-up photos showcasing body parts like his elbows, eyes, and wrists, followed by a short video of Heeseung looking into the camera on the final slide.

The account, with the username @h_evva_n, already had 2.3 million followers within 24 hours. With his new image as EVAN, fans began to speculate about the possible concept of his new album, which is predicted to be a more refined and in-depth depiction of Lee Heeseung's persona.
