OnePlus launched two new devices in India namely OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2. The OnePlus 9RT was launched in China in October 2021, but it has just been introduced in the Indian market. The device has a 6.62-inch 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display and a triple rear camera setup. It comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, stereo speakers, and 65W fast charging.
The OnePlus 9RT flaunts a 6.62-inch Fluid AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) resolution, HDR10+, a 120Hz refresh rate panel, 1300 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. There is an in-display optical fingerprint reader. Under the hood, the smartphone comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDD5 RAM, and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The OnePlus 9RT has three cameras on the rear: 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX766) with F1.88 aperture and OIS, 16MP ultrawide camera (Sony IMX481) and an F2.25 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with an F2.4. The macro camera lets you go as close as 4cm to the subject. It can record 4K videos 60fps, 1080p slow-motion videos at 240fps, and 720p slow-motion videos at 480fps using the rear-facing main camera.
For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP front-facing camera (Sony IMX471) with an F2.4 aperture, EIS, and Full HD video recording. The smartphone runs Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 out of the box. The smartphone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and supports 65W Warp Charge. The device has stereo speakers and support for Dolby Atmos audio.
Connectivity features of the OnePlus 9RT include a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone will be sold in two colours: Hacker Black and Nano Silver. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 162.2×74.6×8.29mm and weighs 198.5g. The handset comes in Black, Silver, and Blue color options.
As for pricing anf availability, the OnePlus 9RT comes in two memory configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹42,999, while the top-end variant (12GB + 256GB) costs ₹46,999. The handset will be available for purchase starting January 17, 2022, through Amazon.in, OnePlus India, and other major offline retail outlets.
