Oppo K9 5G launched with a 90Hz AMOLED display and Snapdragon 768G SoC in China. It carries a price tag 1,999 Yuan (around Rs.22,796). It is the successor of the OPPO K7 5G which was launched back in August last year. The handset runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS out of the box and comes in black and blue gradient colour option.
The OPPO K9 5G features a 6.43-inches 20:9 Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and a punch-hole design on the top left corner. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 768G SoC, Adreno 620 GPU and coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM + 256GB of internal storage.
As far as the cameras are concerned, Oppo K9 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel (primary) lens + an 8-megapixel (ultrawide) lens with a 119-degree FOV + 2-megapixel (macro) lens. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The device is fueled by a 4,300mAh battery and supports 65W rapid charging.
For connectivity options, the Oppo K9 5G has a dual SIM slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The sensor onboard includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light sensor and an in-display fingerprint reader. Lastly, In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9mm thickness and weighs about 172g.
For pricing and availability, the base variant of the Oppo K9 5G costs 1,999 Yuan (around Rs.22,796) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage version while the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant carries a price tag of 2,199 Yuan (around Rs.25,059). The smartphone comes in black and blue gradient colour option. It is currently up for pre-sale on Jd.com in China.
