Redmi 9 Prime smartphone has been unveiled in India and it comes at an affordable price range from Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi. Although the handset shares the same sort of specifications as Redmi 9 that was launched in Spain in June. The smartphone is launched in Comparision to Realme Narzo 10.

Redmi 9 Prime comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core chipset and associated with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. As for OS software, the handset runs on MIUI 11 out of the box which is based on Android 10 out of the box.

The Redmi 9 Prime has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary image sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary image sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens that has a 118-degree field of view (FoV). The camera setup also has a 5-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8-megapixel camera sensor at the front.

The Redmi 9 Prime is equipped with a 5020mah monster battery and supports 18W fast charging. But the smartphone comes with a 10W charger. For Connectivity, the handset includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is P2i splash-proof.

As for pricing and availability, the Redmi 9 Prime comes in two storage variants 4GB/64GB, and 4GB/128GB and the base variant comes at Rs. 9,999 while the 128GB storage option carries a price tag of Rs. 11,999 in India. Both models come in Space Blue, Mint Green, Matte Black, and Sunrise Flare color options.
