Redmi K30 Ultra has been announced with 120Hz Amoled panel, Quad Camera, and Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset in China. The smartphone will be available in three color variants — Moonlight White, Midnight Black, and Mint Green, The handset comes with a Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC under the hood, and runs on MIUI 12 which is based on Android 10 out of the box.

The Redmi K30 Ultra features a 6.67-inches 20:9 full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display panel along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits of peak brightness, and 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC, Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, and coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS storage. The dimensions of the handset are listed to be at 163.3×75.4×9.1mm, and the device weighs 213 grams.

In terms of optics, the Redmi K30 Ultra equipped with quad rear camera setup includes a 64-Megapixel (Primary) camera with f/1.7 aperture + 5-Megapixel (Macro) lens + 13-Megapixel (Ultra-wide) lens that offers a 119-degree field of view with an aperture of f/2.4 and a 2-Megapixel (depth) lens with an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie shooter. It packs with a 4,500mAh battery and 33W fast charging support. 

For connectivity, the Redmi K30 Ultra includes support of dual-mode 5G (NSA+SA), Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port, and NFC. In terms of Sensors, It includes a distance sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, infrared remote control, and hall sensor. The phone comes with dual stereo speakers and three microphones that allow an Audio Zoom feature which helps to capture clear audio from a distance.

The base variant of the Redmi K30 Ultra carries a price tag of CNY 1,999 (around Rs21,500) for 6GB + 128GB storage. The 8GB + 128GB storage variants costs CNY 2,199 (around Rs 24,000) and the high end variants of 8GB + 256GB costs CNY 2,499 (around Rs 27,000) and 8GB + 512GB storage costs CNY 2,699 (around Rs 29,000). It will go live on August 14 through all official Xiaomi channels in China, including Mi.com.
