Samsung Galaxy S20 FE finally launched in India as an affordable Flagship smartphone from South Korean tech giant, Samsung after announcing globally last month. The handset globally launched in two variants one is 4G and another is 5G but Samsung launched only the 4G variant in India and doesn’t provide any details regarding the 5G variant launch in India.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 6.5 inches Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) resolution and has a 120Hz refresh rate with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Samsung Exynos 990 SoC coupled with Arm Mali™-G77 MP11 GPU. The handset is running on Android 10 OS with One UI 2.0 on the top. The smartphone is IP68 certified which means the S20 FE is dust and waterproof. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 159.8×74.5×8.4mm and weighs 190 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with a triple rear camera that includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree field of view (FoV), and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.0. At the front, the smartphone has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0. The primary sensor at the back has the support of optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual-phase detection autofocus. The front-facing camera also has autofocus support.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging and also supports wireless charging. Samsung has provided the fast UFS 3.1 up to 256GB onboard storage. For connectivity, The phone includes 5G (optional), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of sensors, the device is packed with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor, a proximity sensor, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes in a single 4G variant with a sole 8GB + 128GB configuration and it is priced at Rs. 49,999. But Samsung also launched the 5G variant for $699 ( Rs. 51,100 approx ) globally that was not launched today in India may be the company unveil it later but there is no confirmation for that. The device pre-orders will start from October 9 and the phone will go on sale on 16th October via Amazon, Samsung India online store, and select offline retailers.
