iQOO Neo6 was announced in China as the new affordable flagship device from the Vivo sub-brand. It is the successor of the iQOO Neo 5 which was revealed last year in March 2021. As for the key highlights, the new handset comes with a fast refresh rate AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, dual rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more.
iQOO Neo6 bears a 6.62 inches AMOLED display with Full-HD+ ( 2400 ×1080 pixels ) resolution, 120Hz fast refresh rate, HDR support, 16.7 million colours, and 91.4% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen1 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with an Adreno 730 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. the handset runs on Origin OS based on Android 12 out of the box.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the iQOO Neo6 features a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.89 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center.
The iQOO Neo6 is packed with a 4700mah battery and supports 80W fast charging. For connectivity, the device includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GNSS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard, the smartphone comes with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, physical gyroscope, electronic compass, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The handset measures 163.00mm x 76.16 x 8.5/8.8885mm and weighs 193.95 grams.
For official pricing and availability, the iQOO Neo6 comes in three configurations: 8GB + 128GB priced at 2799 yuan ( Rs. 33,500 approx ), 8GB + 256GB priced at 2999 yuan ( Rs. 35,800 approx ) and 12GB + 256GB priced at 3299 yuan ( Rs. 39,400 approx ). The smartphone comes in three color options namely punk, blue, and black lord. The phone will go for sale in China on April 20.
