Realme V23 5G was announced in China as the new budget 5G smartphone from the Chinese Tech Company. The V series from Realme is specifically created for China only and the brand recently unveiled the Realme V25 5G which has slightly better specifications compared to the newly launched handset. It comes with MediaTek 5G octa-core SoC, dual rear cameras, a big battery, fast charging, and more.
Realme V23 5G bears a 6.58 inches IPS LCD display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2408 pixels ) resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB/12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.
As for the camera department, the Realme V23 5G features a dual rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor coupled with a dual-LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. On the front software, it comes running on Android 12 with realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
The Realme V23 5G is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 33W fast charging. The smartphone sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 163.8 x 75.1 x 8mm and weighs 190 grams. For connectivity, the device includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As per the official pricing and availability, the Realme V23 5G comes in two configurations: 8GB + 128GB priced at 1,699 yuan and 12GB + 256GB priced at 1,899 yuan. The smartphone comes in two color options namely Glass Magic and Gravel Black. The handset will go for sale in China on April 20.
