Vivo X80 Pro smartphone was announced in India along with Vivo X80. It is the successor of the Vivo X70 Pro which was unveiled last year in September 2021. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with a fast refresh rate LTPO AMOLED display, a 50MP Quad rear camera, Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, a big battery, fast wireless, and wired charging, and more.

The Vivo X80 Pro flaunts a 6.78 inches LTPO E5 AMOLED display with a 2k ( 1440 x 3200 pixels ) resolution, 120Hz fast refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 octa-core processor that comes paired with an Adreno 730 GPU. It is coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. There is also Vivo V1+ individual chip for better image processing. The device is running on Android 12 out of the box with Funtouch OS 12 skin on top. 

In terms of optics, the Vivo X80 Pro features a quad rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GNV sensor with f/1.57 aperture and 4-axis optical image stabilization, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultrawide lens with 114 degrees Field of View, an 8-megapixel periscope lens with 5 x optical zoom and 2-axis OIS, and a 12-megapixel portrait lens with gimbal stabilization. The device sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera under the punch-hole at the top center.

The Vivo X80 Pro is backed by a 4700mah battery and supports 80W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging as well. The handset includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It comes with an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, infrared sensor, and a 3D ultrasonic under-display sensor. This device measures 164.57 x 75.30 x 9.1mm and weighs around 219 grams. 

For pricing and availability, the Vivo X80 Pro is priced at Rs. 79,999 for the solo configuration of 12GB + 256GB and the smartphone is offered in a single Cosmic Black color option. The handset will go for sale on May 25 and it is currently available for pre-orders via e-commerce platform website Flipkart, Vivo India online and offline retail stores.
