Vivo X80 smartphone was announced in India along with X80 Pro. Although, the Vivo X80 series was unveiled globally earlier this month. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with a fast refresh rate punch-hole AMOLED display, MediaTek’s flagship SoC, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more.

Vivo X80 features a 6.78 inches punch-hole E5 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 92.2 percent screen to body ratio, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor with Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. It is paired with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It comes running on Funtouch OS 12 skin based on Android 12 out of the box.

The Vivo X series always offers a next-level camera experience and this time as well the company has provided a triple camera at the rear side including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 main sensor with OIS ( Optical Image Stabilization ) and f/1.75 aperture and, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.0 aperture, and a 12-megapixel portrait lens. The smartphone sports a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Vivo also bundled the V1+ image processing chip for better color accuracy, dynamic range, and contrast in images and videos. The Chinese tech company also provided cinematic video bokeh, laser autofocus, professional camera settings, bokeh effects, and ZEISS T* coating. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 164.95 x 75.23 x 8.78mm and weighs 206 grams. 

The Vivo X80 is packed with a 4500mah battery and supports 80W fast charging. As per the company, the phone will charge fully in less than 30 minutes. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device sports an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

For official pricing and availability, the Vivo X80 comes in two configurations: 8GB + 256GB priced at Rs. 54,999, and 12GB + 256GB priced at Rs. 59,999. The smartphone is offered in two color options namely Cosmic Black and Urban Blue. The device is available for pre-order and will go for sale on May 25 via e-commerce platform website Flipkart, Vivo online, and offline stores.
