Actor Na In Woo will be turning into an icon of bad luck in KBS 2TV’s new drama “Jinxed at First” Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Jinxed at First” is a fantasy romance drama about what happens when a poor, unlucky man, who has accepted his unfortunate fate, meets a goddess of fortune, who jumps out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family.

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun stars as Seul Bi, who has the special ability of seeing the future of any person she touches. Due to this ability, Seul Bi is forced to suffer the shame of living in captivity. When Seul Bi gets to spend a magical day with Gong Soo Kwang (Na In Woo), she’s introduced to a new world she has yet to experience.

Na In Woo takes on the role of Seodong Market’s fish seller Gong Soo Kwang who has a special jinx and an unfortunate swamp of bad luck. The handsome, kind, and skilled Gong Soo Kwang ends up living a completely transformed life after an unpredictable incident. Although he’s accepted his unfortunate fate, his life is changed all over again when he meets Seul Bi, a goddess of fortune.

The new stills offer another glimpse of Gong Soo Kwang’s daily life. In one photo, he poses as a fish seller, and another still depicts him looking utterly devastated with an expression that hints he’s completely down on his luck. Fans can look forward to seeing a new side of Na In Woo as he portrays a role he’s never done before.

Na In Woo commented, “[While playing Gong Soo Kwang,] I once again realized how special and powerful a person’s will and sincerity are.” Previously, Na In Woo hinted that Gong Soo Kwang has a second name, which is Go Myung Sung, and it will make the story much more interesting. 

Fans can also look forward to his sweet chemistry with his co-star Seohyun as they depict the unique romance between two people with different kinds of luck. “Jinxed at First” premieres on June 15 at 9:50 p.m. KST (Korea Standard Time) and will be available with English subtitles on American video streaming website Viki.
