Over the past month, the members of THE BOYZ have officially announced their new home for activities outside the group. Now, it's Q's turn to share similar news.
The actor from the Korean drama 'My Idol, My Debut' has officially joined PEACHY Company, the management agency founded by actress Jun Ji Hyun last year.
On Friday (September 4, 2026), PEACHY Company confirmed the news of Q's joining, as reported by The Fact. They provided a brief clarification to the media. "It's true that we have signed an exclusive contract with Q.
We plan to fully support Q's activities as an actor," said a representative from the agency. Currently, PEACHY Company only has three artist rosters: Jun Ji Hyun, Kim So Hyun, and now Q. Q debuted as a member of THE BOYZ in 2017.
He recently began expanding his career from music to acting. His first leading role was in My Idol, My Debut. He is currently preparing to star in the film Akgu: The Secret of the Moon Shadow. Filming is scheduled to begin this month.
Q joins the cast of Akgu: The Secret of the Moon Shadow alongside Chu So Jung, Yoon Sang Hyun, Oh Woo Ri, Kim Su Gyeom, and Jang Yeo Bin. This will be Q's first horror feature film project.
He will play a character named Tae Kyeop. Among all the characters in the film, Tae Kyeop is portrayed as the most rational and logical. The film Akgu: The Secret of the Moon Shadow is planned to be released in 2027.
