BTS's Jin admits that he doesn't have any acting plans yet, Even though his debut is awaited

Becoming an actor is Jin BTS 's dream that he has had for a long time. In order to become an actor, Jin even majored in acting at one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea, Konkuk University. Coinciding with BTS ' hiatus as a group, recently there have been reports that Jin will develop his individual career by immediately expanding into the acting industry.

This was increasingly discussed after actor Kim Nam Gil revealed that he had worked on the same project as Jin. In addition, Jin has recently been seen attending movie premieres such as 'Emergency Declaration' and 'Hunt' and showing his closeness with the actors. Because of this series of things, it's only natural that fans hope that Jin will soon make his debut in the acting world. 

However, Koreaboo reported that the idol recently expressed his thoughts against fans' expectations about going into acting through BTS's Weverse account. When an ARMY asked when he would start his acting career, Jin shared that he wasn't actually sure if he wanted to pursue an acting career again.

He wrote, "I'm not sure.. There's been a rumor going around lately that I'm going to act.. I really don't have any plans for it. I don't even feel like doing it yet." Jin's confession was actually not a surprise for ARMYs who watched the 2022 BTS Festa Dinner. There, he revealed his motivation to become an actor.

Jin went on to say that he felt the experience he was seeking as an idol was more than enough so he was no longer sure whether being an actor was still relevant to him. However, he shared that life is long and he still has plenty of time to decide whether he wants to pursue another career in the entertainment industry or not.

Although Jin has openly admitted his disinterest in acting, some fans believe that it is possible that this is part of Jin's plan to give fans a 'surprise'. From his previous experience, Suga has also tricked fans into believing that his solo music will not be released in the near future, but it turns out that he released the music shortly after.
