Following his top-notch portrayal as Jang Han Seo in the dark comedy K-drama "Vincenzo," Kwak Dong Yeon is back with another challenging role in the supernatural thriller series "Ghost." Kwak Dong Yeon has started to solidify his villain role by showcasing absolute evil in the newly-premiered Korean series "Ghost," also known as "Monstrous."

He takes the character of Kwak Yong Joo. In his interview, he shared his thoughts about his new work. "I wanted my character to be more intense. There were some scenes that were disappointing, because I didn't know if I did it faithfully. But with all the antagonist characters I've played, this is the most evil role for a villain type that I have acted in."

"Ghost" premiered last April 29 and depicts the story of the people in Jinyang, who were caught up in a disaster after the cursed ghost woke up. The "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" star works with Goo Kyo Hwan, Shin Hyun Bin, Nam Da Reum, Kim Ji Young and Park Ho San.

In "Vincenzo," he acted as the puppet chairman of Babel Group and played enthusiastically as Jang Han Seo, a natural villain who did everything he could to please his older brother. In regard to taking another villain role, Kwak Dong Yeon revealed how he joined the cast of "Ghost."

The actor explained that the texture of Yong Joo's character in the script is something he hasn't shown yet, that's why it triggered him to accept the offer and immerse himself in fulfilling the expectations for the role. "Ghost" has only six episodes in total, and even though he still wanted to show more of his role, he can't because of the limited time.

The 25-year-old actor shared a new photo of him on his Instagram, in which he shows off his intense transformation for "Ghost."  In the photo, he stands in front of the sink with blood on his hands and a big tattoo covering his back. He mentioned in the interview that before putting the tattoo, he, together with the production team, discussed it thoroughly before making it to the screen.
