Park Seo Joon is reportedly playing an LGBT character in the latest Marvel film. The Korean actor has officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since it was announced on Friday July 30, 2021. Known as one of South Korea's most famous actors, Park Seo Joon has successfully spread his wings in the Hollywood film industry.
He is the third Korean actor to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Claudia Kim (Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Ma Dong Seok (Eternals). Now Park Seo Joon is becoming a conversation because it is rumored to play the bisexual Noh-Varr. He is confirmed to star in the sequel to the Captain Marvel film, The Marvels with the main player Brie Larson.
The news came from the Marvel Cinematic Universe fanbase, Marvel Updates, which is popular on Twitter (@marvel_updat3s). Fans are increasingly convinced that Park Seo Joon will play Noh-Varr because he is depicted as Asian in the original comic. The character, also known as Marvel Boy, first appeared in the Marvel Boy #1 comic in August 2000.
Like Captain Marvel, Noh-Varr joined the Avengers as a protector. Park Seo Joon is considered suitable for playing Noh-Varr who has an athletic body, and was named the 'Sexiest Man in Comics' in second place in 2013. Furthermore, the character is a bisexual who had dated Kate Bishop (player Hailee Stainfeld) and was close to young Loki.
Last year, Marvel Comics also added the characters of Noh-Varr and Hercules (player Brett Goldstein) dating in The Guardians of the Galaxy. If Park Seo Joon really played Noh-Varr and side by side with Hercules, fans might see his kiss scene with the actor. The news immediately reaped the pros and cons among Park Seo Joon's fans on Twitter.

In his interview with Newsen, Park Seo Joon admitted that he didn't mind playing a gay character. "I'm neutral. I don't lean like that but if the character is interesting then I will.
