Pledis Entertainment informs that SEVENTEEN 's Joshua and Hoshi have tested positive for Covid-19 . This statement was shared by Pledis Entertainment as SEVENTEEN's agency on Sunday August 28, 2022, through its Twitter account. “ JOSHUA and HOSHI had nasal congestion and a mild cough on August 27 (ET) and had previously been tested for COVID-19, and the test results came back positive. 

They are currently undergoing self-quarantine and treatment in Washington, DC, USA. ” wrote Pledis Entertainment. On Saturday August 27, 2022 local time, Joshua and Hoshi reportedly underwent a Covid-19 test after experiencing symptoms of nasal congestion and a mild cough. As a result of the tests, both of them tested positive for Covid-19. The two will self-quarantine in Washington, DC.

“ All the other SEVENTEEN members are not experiencing any symptoms. ” Apart from Joshua and Hoshi, 11 other SEVENTEEN members were declared not to have any symptoms. This is the third news from Pledis Entertainment during the SEVENTEEN members holding the BE THE SUN world tour in America. 

Previously there was Dino who tested positive for Covid-19 on August 18, 2022. Then there was Mingyu who also tested positive for Covid-19 on August 19, 2022. Now both Dino and Mingyu have returned to activities with other SEVENTEEN members. Regarding the future activities of SEVENTEEN members. Pledis Entertainment said that there will be no changes to the next schedule. 

However, for now, both Joshua and Hoshi will be absent from the BE THE SUN concerts which will be held at Capital One Arena, Washington, DC and State Farm Arena, Atlanta on August 28 and 30, 2022. SEVENTEEN will perform with 11 members in the 2 shows. However , in accordance with local precautionary guidelines, 11 members will participate in the Washington, DC show on Sunday, August 28 (US local time) and the Atlanta show on Tuesday, 

August 30 (US local time) without JOSHUA and HOSHI. ” SEVENTEEN will continue their BE THE SUN world tour in 3 other cities in the United States, before continuing their tour in Asia. SEVENTEEN will hold concerts at Belmont Park on September 1, Toronto on September 3, and Newark on September 6, 2022.
