The Covid-19 virus is still causing unrest in South Korea with more and more news from entertainment world artists being exposed. This time the sad news came from one of the members of the South Korean girl group TWICE , namely Jihyo who was confirmed positive for Covid-19.

Soompi launched on August 24, 2022, JYP Entertainment has issued an official statement regarding the health condition of one of the TWICE members, namely Jihyo.  The following is a statement from JYP Entertainment regarding Jihyo's health condition. "Halo, kami JYP Entertainment.

We are sorry to inform you that TWICE member Jihyo has tested positive for Covid-19 through a rapid antigen test on August 24, 2022. After using the self-test kit on August 24, 2022, at 10:30 am, he underwent a rapid antigen test and was officially diagnosed with COVID-19. He is currently in quarantine and recuperating according to health authority guidelines.

We apologize for causing concern to our fans and all concerned. We will put the artist's health first and do our best for his speedy recovery. Thank you ." Hearing the news that Jihyo was confirmed positive for Covid-19 of course made fans feel sad. Moreover, TWICE will soon make a comeback in a few days. 

TWICE fans also hope for Jihyo's recovery and a speedy recovery so that she can return to activities in this comeback with other TWICE members.  Here are some comments from fans. " Why does this virus always bother me. Even a few days before the comeback.  I'm sorry for Jihyo. 

However, her health is the main thing. Get well soon, Jihyo. You will be back soon ," wrote one fan. " Hope you get well soon, Jihyo ," commented other fans. " No, why is my wife sick? " " This comeback won't be special without Jihyo. Get well soon, Jihyo ."

Meanwhile, TWICE is scheduled to make a comeback through their latest mini album titled "Between 1&2" on August 26, 2022, at 13:00 KST. A number of teaser images and videos have also been shared on social media accounts, including a highlight medley of songs that will later be on the "Between 1&2" album.
