TXT's Yeonjun will return to be an MC on the SBS Inkigayo Music Show, After being absent

After being absent for about a month, TXT 's Yeonjun is rumored to be returning to be the MC of SBS Inkigayo . This news was conveyed by Bighit Music as TXT's agency on August 7, 2022 through its Twitter account. Here's a notification from Bighit Music via Twitter, "[TV] #TOMORROW_X_TOGETHER #YEONJUN will be on SBS Inkigayo on August 7 at 3:40 p.m. KST."

Yeonjun has been absent as an MC on the SBS music show Inkigayo since July 3. The absence of the eldest member of TXT is due to his schedule clashing with the activities of his group, TXT. Since the end of June, TXT has been traveling to America to perform the Act:Love Sick concert. 

The singer of the song 'Good Bye Gone Bad' held a total of 8 concerts in 7 cities during July in America. In addition to holding their first world tour Act:Love Sick, the boy group which debuted in 2019 also performed at America's biggest music festival, Lollapalooza 2022. TXT successfully became the first K-pop idol to appear on the Lollapalooza stage.

TXT just arrived in South Korea on August 1. The first two episodes since Yeonjun's absence (episodes that aired July 3 and 10, 2022), SBS Inkigayo were only hosted by the previous 2 MCs, namely Roh Jeong Eui and Seo Bum June . Then in the next episode that aired on July 17, ENHYPEN's Sunoo was given the opportunity to be a special MC joining Roh Jeong Eui and Seo Bum June. 

Then replaced by Chaewon LE SSERAFIM for broadcasts on July 24 and 31. In total there were 5 episodes of the SBS Inkigayo music show that aired without Yeonjun's presence as an MC. This Sunday August 8, 2022, Yeonjun will rejoin Roh Jeong Eui and Seo Bum June. Yeonjun has been lined up as the MC of SBS Inkigayo with Roh Jeong Eui and Seo Bum June since last June. 

The three replaced the previous MC positions, namely IVE's An Yu Jin, TREASURE's Jihoon and NCT's Sungchan. Choi Yeonjun, Roh Jeong Eui, and Seo Bum June, all three are known as MC Jjunijjun. The interactions and abilities of the three MCs managed to get a lot of love and attention from the audience.
