In the middle of the night of Chuseok celebrations, the rating of MBC's ' Big Mouth ' episode 13 had experienced a drastic decline, with a national rating of only 8.3 percent. In fact, in the previous episode, this drama had just scored its highest rating of 12.0 percent. Even so, the drama, starring Lee Jong Suk and Im YoonA, remained the most watched Friday-Saturday drama on the first night of the Chuseok holiday.

In addition, 'Big Mouth' again beat the drama 'Today's Webtoon' which only received a national rating of 2.0 percent. Launching soompi , almost the same also happened to all other dramas that aired on the peak night of Chuseok. tvN's newest drama, 'Little Women', dropped in its third episode, earning a national rating of 5.6 percent for the night.

Meanwhile, JTBC's 'The Good Detective 2' ratings dropped to an average of 4.3 percent, TV Chosun's 'Becoming Witch' ratings dropped to 1.07 percent national ratings for its series finale, while SBS's 'Today's Webtoon' dropped slightly to ratings. an average of 1.9 percent. Even the KBS 2TV family drama, 'It's Beautiful Now' scored the lowest nationwide rating in the last two months on Chuseok yesterday.

Although the drama's rating is still very high among other dramas that aired on Saturday, the national rating of the drama starring Yoon Shi Yoon dropped from the previous episode of 28.9 percent to 22.1 percent. However, unlike the fate of other dramas, the single-digit rating obtained by 'Big Mouth' did not last long.

According to Nielsen Korea, 'Big Mouth' rose in the 14th episode which aired on September 10 and achieved a national rating of 10.6 percent. The acquisition even made 'Big Mouth' again the most-watched drama in its time slot. Chuseok itself is a festival of autumn harvest for the people of South Korea.

This year, Chuseok holiday falls on September 10, but as usual, the long Chuseok holiday has started the day before. To celebrate Chuseok, people generally gather or travel with their families. Therefore, not many people watch television on that special day. So the drop in ratings for various programs that aired in the middle of the Chuseok holiday is quite natural.
