BTS's V Becomes the Cover of Korean VOGUE Magazine, Pre-Order Numbers in Japan Set a Record

BTS's V became the cover model of VOGUE Korea magazine. He proved his unparalleled popularity, by ranking first in the pre-order category on all Japanese online platforms.  Kim Taehyung or V became the cover model for the October issue of VOGUE Korea magazine. As of September 8th, fans will be able to pre-order the magazine. 

Quoted from the StarNews page September 12, 2022, BTS' VOGUE V magazine pre-orders on September 8 were ranked first and third in the bestseller list on Japan's largest e-commerce site, Rakuten. This magazine recorded the fastest sales in just 4 hours among all products. Qoo10, one of the four major online platforms in Japan noted BTS' VOGUE V magazine ranked 1st and 6th overall in sales. 

Meanwhile, the term 'VOGUE Korea' ranked first in popular search terms on Qoo10 for two consecutive days on September 8 and 9. As if their popularity doesn't stop, the hashtags Taetae, Taehyung, and BTSV are trending on Japanese Twitter. Approximately 30 hours after pre-orders began, Qoo10 recorded the number of sales of the October issue of VOGUE Korea magazine which exceeded 25,000 copies and this number continues to increase. 

With the enthusiasm of fans in pre-orders this time, Qoo10 even opened a second sale after many fans on social media complained that they could not buy the magazine.  On Amazon Japan, BTS' VOGUE V magazine took first place. In addition, in Music Japan this magazine is ranked first in the category of K-Pop magazines, books, and photos. 

Not only occupying the top position in sales in the Japanese region, sales sites and global online bookstores such as Aladdin, Yes24, and Kyobo bookstores also occupy the top position. Yes24, Korea's largest online bookstore, ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in sales for bestsellers in the magazine category. 

Kyobo bookstores also ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the magazine category. Aladdin noted that the magazine's sales were ranked first in the general book of Korean books. Recently, V along with other BTS members greeted fans through a live broadcast on Weverse to commemorate Chuseok and convey Chuseok greetings to fans. BTS also wished fans a happy day during the Chuseok holiday.
