NCT's Jeno Chosen To Open New York Fashion Week With Peter Do

Peter Do has finally officially announced a partnership with SM Entertainment for a spring and summer collection that they will display at the New York Fashion Week 2023 event. Quoting from the hypebae.com site on Saturday September 10, 2022, this collaboration between Peter Do and SM Entertainment includes the participation of several, 

SM Entertainment artists in the runway event, which will feature a collection of women's clothing, unisex, and the launch of a men's clothing collection from the brand. Peter Do. The opening of the runway event will be carried out by NCT 's Jeno. This is Jeno's first experience attending the New York Fashion Week event as an opening model. 

Peter Do said it was very natural to choose Jeno as the opening model for their runway event. Jeno has an image that matches the image of Peter Do, multitalented, confident, and a pioneer.  Peter Do personally shared, "I have a lot of respect for all artists, because they spend a lot of time showing their best without anyone else knowing. Many people don't realize how much effort is put in behind the scenes to produce the final product."

Besides NCT's Jeno who will appear as the opening model for New York Fashion Week, Red Velvet's Seulgi , Shohei and SM Rookies' Eunseok will also attend the event. 

This Peter Do and SM Entertainment collaboration also includes invitations shaped like cookie tins. Each cookie tin contains an SM-branded disposable camera, as well as a recipe from Peter Do's late father and a cookie marked with "PD" and "SM." Peter Do explained, "This memory box contains items that hold emotional memories for me.

 

I have memories like listening to Girls' Generation's songs on the bus on the way to school." "When we started pioneering our brand, we listened to Red Velvet's songs continuously while building our own studio," he added. Meanwhile, the runway event with Peter Do for New York Fashion Week will take place on September 13, 2022.
