BTS's Jin officially made his solo debut with the release of his first album titled HAPPY on Friday November 15, 2024. HAPPY showcases a different side of Jin that has never been fully explored during his career as a member of BTS.

Through this pop rock genre, Jin explores emotions and personal stories through songs filled with nuances of optimism and reflection. Throughout his career with BTS since 2013, Jin is known for his ballad-style solo songs combined with his tenor voice.

However, the man is now trying a pop rock color with a " band sound" in his first solo album. Several songs on the HAPPY album, including the main track titled Running Wild, invite fans to find happiness through simple things and small moments in life.

The HAPPY album contains a total of six tracks with Running Wild as the main song, then continued with I'll Be There, Another Level, Falling, then Heart on the Window, until I Will Come to You as the last song.

Running Wild is the only full English song on the album. The musician, who was born in 1992, also collaborated with a number of other musicians on the HAPPY album, such as Wendy Red Velvet for the track Heart on the Window.

In addition, Jin also invited two personnel from the Japanese rock band, One Ok Rock, namely Taka Moriuchi and Toru Yamashita to produce the song Falling. After teasing fans several times through song snippets and behind-the-scenes photos, the release of the HAPPY album is highly anticipated by fans, familiarly called ARMY, all over the world.

The oldest BTS member released HAPPY five months after completing his mandatory military service which lasted for approximately 18 months. The musician whose full name is Kim Seok-jin is also the last member of BTS to release his solo album.

With the release of the HAPPY album, now all BTS members have their own solo albums. Jin is also planned to do a number of special promotional activities that are different from the usual. He promises more exclusive experiences with fans.
