The Korean public is currently shocked by the news that an actor in his 40s was arrested for drugs. The actor with the initials A was detained at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station. Based on reports from a number of South Korean media, A was arrested for drugs on September 10, 2022 at around 14:00 local time.
According to the police, they initially received reports of a man 'running around like taking drugs'. When A underwent a urine test, he tested positive. After the news circulated, A's identity was sought by the public. Many say A is an actor who starred in the main and supporting characters in various dramas and films.
He is said to have debuted as an actor and took on a supporting role in 2006. This made the public then speculate and name a number of actors such as Park Hae Jin to Lee Moo Saeng as figure A. SBS recently released CCTV which revealed the figure A in question. The CCTV shows a man wearing a yellow t-shirt running around and looking in a bad state. The figure is known to be Lee Sang Bo.
When taken by the police, he was seen unable to walk properly, also with a face full of vomit marks. Police later found a number of drugs at his residence. Lee Sang Bo will undergo an investigation after completing his treatment at the hospital. Meanwhile, it is known that currently Lee Sang Bo has left the management that houses him since last year.
He is now working without an agency. Lee Sang Bo starred in a number of Korean dramas during his career. Among them are Rugal, Private Live, to the newest Miss Monte-Cristo. In 2013, Lee Sang Bo also starred in a film titled Secretly Greatly. Through this drama, he collided with Kim Soo Hyun, Park Ki Woong, to Kim Sung Kyun.
