Love In Contract or also known as MonTuesWednesdayThursFriSat is a South Korean Romantic Comedy Drama written by Ha Gu-dam and directed by Nam Sung-woo. The series stars Park Min-young, Go Kyung-pyo, Kim Jae-young and Kang Hyung-suk in the lead roles. The series runs for 16 episodes and Love In Contract Episode 1 has a runtime of 70 minutes.

Love In Contract Episode 1 begins with Choi Sang-eun having dinner with her husband, Jung Ji-ho. However, soon after dinner, he said goodbye and started meeting other men in the morning. Sang-eun runs a business called 'Single Life Helper' which provides wife services to unmarried men. Sang-eun herself pretends to be the wife of anyone who needs her services for business purposes.

She pretends to be Ki-doo's wife in front of her schoolmates who bully her. Most of Sang-eun's marriages go unrecorded because they require different fees. Sang-eun has been in this business for 13 years and earning money is not her only goal. She often helps men who have genuine reasons for marriage. Gwang-nam is his father's only son who he loves the most and his father only cares about him while ignoring his older sister.

However, he is gay and cannot fulfill his father's wish to bring a daughter-in-law. Gwang-nam doesn't care about his father's opinion but when his sisters find out that he is gay, they are disappointed and because of that, Gwang-nam marries Sang-eun to make them happy. Gwang-nam and Sang-eun soon divorced but remained together as roommates. Both have similar personalities and get along well.

They have become good friends and Gwang-nam knows about all of Sang-eun's clients, including the one known as Mr. Payments or Mr. Retirement. Jung Ji-ho has been a client of Sang-eun for 5 years and has made regular payments. Jung Ji-ho is a little weird but working with him feels like a vacation to Sang-eun. Ji-ho barely speaks and always cooks delicious food for Sang-eun. He is the only client that Sang-eun has seen every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the past 5 years.

Actor Kang Hae-jin is the heir to industrial group Gangjin but he wants it to be a secret. He is often involved in love scandals which are mostly just rumors. She is often seen talking on video calls with her cat which causes misunderstandings. She names her cat after her first love, Jaime whom she hasn't seen in years. Gwang-nam tries to flirt with Hae-jin but ends up getting into a fight with his manager at a restaurant.

We see flashbacks into Sang-eun's life where she looks like the daughter of a rich family, with her real name being Jaime. Sang-eun was forced to marry at the young age of twenty but she failed and has been living on conditions ever since. The nanny, Ms. Yoo still receives a salary from Sang-eun but they share a bitter relationship. Jung Ji-ho is weird in many ways. He is a lawyer but his activities are suspicious.

She has received counseling to learn how to talk to people and often talks about ending things with people who left her. Sang-eun thinks that she is a calm person but she gets angry after seeing a woman and follows her home. The next day, the woman was found stabbed to death. Sang-eun has decided to retire from her current job and wants to start a new life. Gwang-nam and he have the same dream- to move to another country and meet a man there, who knows nothing about them.

Sang-eun finishes her last assignment and relaxes but Gwang-nam reminds her that she hasn't told Mr Payments about her retirement. Sang-eun is used to Ji-ho and finds it hard to tell the truth. However, after coming to terms with reality, he understood that the best gift he could give his best client was to leave him so that he could have a normal life.

Love In Contract Episode 1 gave us everything a Romantic Comedy could ask for. Park Min-young is back again with a new series in her genre of expertise and she never fails to deliver. Her character Sang-eun is very interesting and so is her profession. Ji-ho, Gwang-nam and Hae-jin, three men in Sang-eun's life with three completely different stories should bring an element of fun to the series.
