May It Please the Court is a legal drama TV series directed by Kang Min-ku and starring Jung Ryeo-won, Lee Kyu-hyung, Jung Jin-young and Kim Hye-eun, with members other cast. . The series is based on the novel Byeonloneul Shijakhageksebmida by Jung Hye-jin. May It Please the Court episode 2 is 64 minutes long. May It Please the Court episode 2 begins with Si-baek being shocked to learn that he attempted suicide after meeting his lawyer.

Meanwhile, we also see Chak-hee actually telling Soon-young to end her life but only so she can bring the truth to the surface. Otherwise, Kangsung Pharm would only twist the story for their benefit. Chak-hee scolds Soo-young for actually attempting suicide and tells her how the trial will go and what people will say so that her focus shifts away from the pills. However, she refuses to continue being his lawyer because things will fall apart otherwise.

He promises that he will get a lawyer as good as him and tells him that he has paid back the debt he owed her. Outside the prison, his good memory of Soo-young is stopped by Si-baek, who bumps into him for encouraging Soo-young to commit suicide. However, he points out that she did the exact same thing with him; he just paid less. When Jang Gi-do finds the right person to lead the ESG team, Chak-hee goes to his grandmother's funeral to express his feelings, followed by Si-baek.

As it turned out, their loved ones were lying next to each other. Either way, Chak-hee calls and asks to see him that day when he gives him research on pills that will benefit Si-baek. Back in the present, Chak-hee is arrested, in complete disbelief. In the holding cell, Si-baek calls him a bad guy but assures him he's not giving him up. In turn, it asks for some missing pages of the missing file. Without knowing what is going on, Chak-hee is trapped in the police station and just as he is about to give up hope, Si-baek comes to his rescue.

Outside the station, he points out that he may be imprisoned by his own company. Now that Kangsung's job was done, they wanted to get rid of their hunting dog. After Si-baek leaves, he goes to ask the detective who handed it over and after a bit of prodding, it turns out to be Jang Gi-do. Chak-hee is heartbroken and looks utterly defeated. When he heads to the office the next day, he finds his office cleaned, and he goes to a meeting with Gi-do, fully aware of what's about to happen. So, when he walked into his room, he immediately knelt down and apologized.

Unfortunately, the act of betraying the law firm came at a heavy price, and he got a 1 year suspension for the offence. As he packs up his life, he gives up everything he loves to move Jungha. Meanwhile, Gi-do's lawyer tells him that it was a good decision and stops anyone else from saying that he got his job thanks to his relationship with Byung-chun. At Jungha, Chak-hee refuses to live in his rooftop apartment, but without much choice, this is where he will probably stay for years to come.

However, one more challenge awaits Chak-hee when she realizes that she has to work in the North District office — namely, with Si-baek. The latter seems excited at the prospect of a new partner, completely unaware that it is Chak-hee. So, when they met face to face, he couldn't believe it. Either way, as the day ends, Chak-hee is flown by his two comrades and standing in the rain without an umbrella or car, he is picked up by Cho Hyun-sik who gives him the opportunity to work. in his company's legal team.

However, it comes with some really bad strings. Hyun-sik tries to sexually assault him in the car and force him to go to a hotel, but he holds back his advances, and Si-baek steps in as a knight in shining armor to get him out of a predicament. Chak-hee stops him just in time so he doesn't punch him in the face. Afterwards, Si-baek drives Chak-hee home, and they share some light banter together, and Chak-hee seems to soften up on Si-baek's silliness.

Unfortunately, despite the brave face he puts on the outside, Chak-hee is devastated when he thinks back to what almost happened to him that night. That night, Chak-hee gets a rather scary phone call from Hyun-sik and although he rejects it when he goes into action again, it turns out that Hyun-sik was actually murdered by someone wearing a distinctive all-black watch. The next day, as the detectives look into the case and try to figure out what happened, we see the watch owner, Si-baek, looking a little scary in his car.

You know, it goes well, and then Si-baek turns into a social justice fighter who turns to murder after all being sketchy with Chak-hee about bad guys who always pay the price. Now, if the series later told me that he had some sort of mental health illness that made him forget his alter ego, then I would lose my mind. It's like watching Big Mouth, but not even that interesting. Either way, I think May It Please the Court episode 2 is rather simple and just starting to improve. We'll have to wait and see how this goes.
