South Korean girl group, BLACKPINK is currently preparing for their comeback with the release of a new album, BORN PINK. But in the midst of the wait, allegations emerged that one of the Vietnamese girl groups, DREAMeR, had plagiarized BLACKPINK. This is currently being discussed by netizens.
DREAMeR was accused of plagiarism because they are currently both preparing for their comeback. Not only that, DREAMeR Entertainment, as management, has also just released a comeback schedule for DREAMeR. Similarities can also be seen in the design. In DREAMeR's comeback schedule poster design, they used a black background with pink writing.
At the top, there are two lightning-like signs similar to the teaser released some time ago by BLACKPINK. Based on Pink Venom's comeback poster and world tour schedule, BLACKPINK uses a black background with pink writing. At the top of the poster there are also two fangs that match their concept.
When introducing Bao Uyen as a member of DREAMeR, they also wore pink tops with loose hairstyles. BLACKPINK fans also saw similarities in Lisa's teaser poster which was released some time ago. This then made fans furious. BLINK also called DREAMeR plagiarism and plans to report this to YG Entertainment.
"It seems that a group called DREAMeR from Vietnam cheated on BLACKPINK , LISA, and even imitated ROSE some time ago. I think we should contact YG about this," said one fan. "People in Vietnam also attack them for being shameless. So I hope they don't think people support their behavior," added another. Meanwhile, there is still no comment from YG Entertainment regarding this matter.
