On January 11, 2023, Jang Wonyoung's management agency Starship Entertainment announced, “ Jang Wonyoung will leave KBS 2TV 'Music Bank' after its broadcast on the 13th. ”

Through this statement, Jang Wonyoung is known to be carrying out his final shooting on January 13, 2023. Episode 1147 will be his last broadcast which will air this coming Friday. Jang Wonyoung has been active as the MC of 'Music Bank' since October 8, 2021. Jan Wonyoung has held this position for about 16 months with 2 changes of MC partners.

Jang Wonyoung started her career as the MC of 'Music Bank' with ENHYPEN's Sunghoon. Both of them replaced TXT's Soobin and OH MY GIRL's Arin at that time. Sunghoon then decided to step down on September 2, 2022. He was replaced by actor Lee Chaemin. Wonyoung managed to show off his chemistry with the other MCs which made his fans cheer. MC Wonyoung's ability has increased since the beginning. 

Wonyoung was even lined up as the MC of big events like the Asia Artist Awards IN JAPAN 2022. Jang Wonyoung's departure as MC of 'Music Bank' is reported to focus on her activities as a member of IVE. Jang Wonyoung and other IVE members, Gaeul, Yujin, Rei, Liz, Leeseo are scheduled to hold their first concert. IVE will hold a concert 'The Prom Queens' at the Olympic Hall, Seoul on 11 and 12 February 2023.
