Ahead of the release of their debut Japanese single album on February 8 2023, NCT Dream has finally shared a music video teaser for the main song ' Best Friend Ever '. Quoting from the SMTOWN YouTube channel on Monday February 6, 2023, the music video teaser for the song 'Best Friend Ever' is shown in two different moods and styles.

The twenty-seven second video clip opens with the individual appearances of the members in super cool and all-black outfit styles. The individual expressions of the members are also highlighted one by one with a serious mood. However, the atmosphere suddenly turned cheerful when the paper airplane that Renjun was flying managed to approach the NCT Dream members one by one and make them gather together.

Starting from a slightly dark mood by displaying the rebellious style of teenagers in general when they get together with their group friends. Then later when Jaemin hid under the blanket, the atmosphere changed to be bright with Mark's presence with his big smile in the middle of the blanket. As if they were doing a sleepover on the weekend, the seven members of NCT Dream looked cheerful wearing bright green  bathrobes.

Starting from the game of fighting each other's pillows until all the feathers fly, to the sweet sight of the members cuddling warmly in the midst of setting blue clouds and piles of soft blankets. The sweet smiles on their faces show the closeness they have for each other as best friends. Not only showing the two-sided concept of young people's lives, the music video teaser for the song 'Best Friend Ever' is also accompanied by a groovy and catchy musical beat.

The line 'Best Friend Ever', which was delivered in unison, became the iconic video ending, as well as sparked fans' curiosity about what the full version of this song and music video will be. Meanwhile, the album's debut single 'Best Friend Ever' will be officially released on February 8, 2023. This album will contain two Japanese songs, namely the main song 'Best Friend Ever' and the Japanese version of the b-side track 'Glitch Mode'.
