BTS' Jungkook donated 1 billion won (Rp. 11.2 billion) to help sick  children. Quoting from Allkpop on Tuesday April 18, 2023, Seoul National University said that Jungkook BTS had donated 1 billion won to a children's hospital in Seoul. "Jungkook has donated a grant of 1 billion won to the Seoul National University Children's Hospital," explained the Seoul University Hospital.

According to the Seoul University Hospital report, Jungkook donated the funds to be used for the benefit of children who are experiencing illness and also help their families. This grant is planned to be used for the care of children from low-income families and for establishing an integrated care center project.

Through the hospital, Jungkook said, "I hope this will help a little for children who are experiencing pain, and I will support them so they can smile and be healthy again." Jungkook is known as one of the members of the global boy group BTS, making their debut in 2013. Together with other BTS members, they diligently set aside some of their income to donate.

In January 2017, Jungkook donated 100 million won (Rp. 1.2 billion) to the 416 family council, which consists of families of victims of the Sewol ferry disaster. At that time, the seven BTS members each contributed about 10 million won, and Bighit Music added another 30 million won, bringing a total of 100 million won donated.

Since 2017, they have donated 5.9 billion won (Rp 66.4 billion) as of October 2022, through #ENDviolence, a campaign fighting violence against children and youth. This campaign is in collaboration with the South Korean Committee for UNICEF. During the pandemic, BTS also continued to make group donations.

In 2022, together with their agency, Bighit Music, BTS members donated around 1.2 billion won (Rp. 13.5 billion) to an anti-racism campaign organization called 'BLACK LIVE MATTER'. As a result, many fans also donated together with BTS, and helped raise US$ 1 million (Rp. 14.8 billion). Meanwhile, BTS donated about 1.2 billion won to Live Nation, a global performance agency, asking fellow performers for support in facing difficulties after the pandemic.
