South Korean Girl Group, IVE has just released a new album titled I've IVE. But in the midst of his busy comeback, Rei decided to go on hiatus. This news was delivered directly by Starship Entertainment as IVE's management. Rei decided to take a temporary hiatus due to health problems.
"We would like to inform you about the health condition and participation of IVE member Rei in carrying out future activities," Starship Entertainment opened. "Rei recently experienced abnormal symptoms such as heart palpitations and shortness of breath. So, he had to visit the hospital and undergo an examination," he continued.
After the examination, the medical team was of the opinion that Rei had to stop activities temporarily so that he could recover quickly. So, it was decided that Rei would take a hiatus from all activities with IVE. "Based on the medical side's statements and discussions with Rei, we have decided to temporarily halt scheduled activities for the sake of her health recovery," said Starship Entertainment.
"We ask for the understanding of fans in the decision to prioritize the health of our artists. Going forward, we will inform you again if any changes are made," he added. At the end of the statement, Starship Entertainment also apologized to fans for causing concern with news about Rei.
