BLACKPINK's Rose is in the middle of the conversation. This is because there are rumors that the idol uses drugs. The rumors arose after Burberry's former chief creative officer, Riccardo Tisci, uploaded a photo of Rose on his social media account.
In the photo, Rose appears visiting the home of a fashion designer and entrepreneur named Eva Chow. Netizens then highlighted the presence of Rose and Kang Dong Won in the photo. However, there are those who then claim to see white powder which is referred to as a drug.
Shortly after the photo caused a public uproar, Riccardo Tisci immediately deleted it. Shortly after, YG Entertainment also opened its voice. YG Entertainment officially released a statement denying the rumours. They will report the rumor spreader to the police.
"We would like to state that the rumors related to BLACKPINK's Rose, which are currently circulating in online communities, social media, and others, are untrue," said YG Entertainment. "We will take legal steps for actions that violate human rights and defame our agency's artists," he continued. YG Entertainment admits that they are currently monitoring those suspected of spreading rumors.
They promised to take firm action on this matter. "We are monitoring those who create and spread these rumours. We will take strict legal action without any relief or any form of settlement," he concluded. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently busy with the BORN PINK world tour.
