Condition of Cha Eun Woo and Other ASTRO Members after Moonbin Died

The entertainment world of South Korea is shrouded in deep sorrow at the news of Moonbin ASTRO's departure on Wednesday May 19, 2023. This handsome singer is known to have died at the age of 25. Moonbin's sudden departure was confirmed directly by his music group label, Fantagio Entertainment, on social media.

"On April 19, 2023, ASTRO member Moonbin suddenly left us and became a star in the sky," wrote the agency's statement, quoted from the Soompi page, on Thursday May 20, 2023. He added that Moonbin's group mates and family were very saddened by the loss of this K-pop idol.

“While nothing can be compared to the grief of his grieving family to be separated from their beloved son and brother, his fellow artists and staff here at Fantagio, who have been with him for a long time, are also deeply saddened by his passing amidst the shocking and sad news. this is amazing," he continued. 

Fantagio also stated that Moonbin's co-workers Jinjin and Sanha are currently waiting for Moonbin. According to the agency, Cha Eun Woo is on his way back from the United States, and it is currently difficult to confirm future schedule of activities. 

Regarding MJ, who is currently serving in the military, it is known that he immediately applied for leave to visit Moonbin. "MJ heard the news of Moonbin's death in the morning, and he immediately (received approval) to go on leave and visit Moonbin," he wrote. 

Moonbin is known to have a younger sister who is also involved in the entertainment world just like him. Her younger sister is Sua, a member of the girl group Billie. Regarding the departure of Sua's older brother, Mystic Story Entertainment, Sua's agency, said that all of Billie's activities would be canceled in the near future.
