NCT's Jaehyun again made Indonesian fans in an uproar after calling himself Jamal. As is known, Jaehyun got a local Indonesian name while attending a Shopee event with NCT 127 personnel two years ago. Since then NCT's Jaehyun has used Jamal as his profile name on the Bubble account.
Until he introduced himself as Jamal on various occasions. Recently, NCT's Jaehyun visited Indonesia with Doyoung and Jungwoo. The NCT 127 personnel who are members of the DOJAEJUNG sub unit held a fansign in Jakarta on Sunday May 28, 2023.
The arrival of NCT DOJAEJUNG was carried off by promoter Mecima Pro who held an exclusive fansign for 30 lucky fans. Selected fans can chat with Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo as well as get autographs from the members on their first album titled Perfume.
In the midst of his arrival to Jakarta, NCT's Jaehyun uploaded a photo of him wearing a black tank top in a car park. Next to his Instagram username @_jeongjaehyun, Jaehyun wrote the caption "also known as Jamal" as if introducing himself as Jamal and making fans hysterical.
NCT's Jaehyun latest photo upload, who calls himself Jamal, is also a topic of discussion for NCTzens on Twitter. "Jamal's name, my outfit is like a priority customer, but he's really a sultan," commented a fan. "Jamal, in Arabic, means handsome, brilliant, beautiful, and dashing. Yes, it fits Jaehyun's specs," wrote another fan.
"It's like if there weren't fans who told him at FS about plans to change his nickname at BBL, then his name would still be Jamal until now," said another fan. The fans also highlighted NCT's Jaehyun video during the fansign. Where the owner of the real name Jeong Jaehyun answered when called by the name Jamal.
