aespa has been busy with their activities in the United States this past week. Before appearing at The Governors Ball on June 10, 2023, they are scheduled to be the opening act for the baseball game between the New York Yankees and the Chicago White Sox at Yankees Stadium, New York, USA.

This match is scheduled to be held on Thursday June 8, 2023 local time. Through its official Instagram, the New York Yankees announced and welcomed the arrival of aespa who will make the first pitch in the game. "We can't wait to welcome sensational K-Pop group aespa on Thursday, June 8, for the first ball throwing ceremony!" they wrote in Instagram Story.

aespa continues the tradition of SM Entertainment artists stepping onto the baseball field and throwing out the first pitch. Before them, SNSD's Taeyeon and EXO's Baekhyun had also done the same for domestic matches in South Korea. A few days after that aespa will perform at The Governors Ball 2023 in New York. 

This music event will be held for 3 days from 9 to 11 June 2023. aespa will perform on the second day, Saturday June 10, 2023 on the same stage with Lil Baby, Odesza, Rina Sawayama, Lauv, Suki Waterhouse, to Finneas. A few weeks after that, aespa will stop by in Jakarta for the LIVE TOUR 2023 concert 'HYPER LINE' in Jakarta on 24 uni 2023.
