The girl group under the auspices of SM Entertainment, aespa, will take part in enlivening the New York Yankees home game this week. Quoting from Soompi on Wednesday June 7, 2023, it is reported that aespa will attend as the guest of honor and throw the first pitch before the game starts.
The New York Yankees officially announced on June 6, 2023 (local time) that aespa will visit their home turf to make their first pitch on June 8, 2023. "We can't wait to see the sensational K-Pop group, aespa, on June 8, 2023 to perform the first pitching ceremony," said the New York Yankees.
Meanwhile, for the match that will be held on June 8, 2023, the New York Yankees will face the Chicago White Sox team, which starts at 19:05 local time. Apart from appearing to enliven the New York Yankees game against the Chicago White Sox, aespa is also scheduled to perform at The Governors Ball music festival on June 10, 2023.
aespa is the first K-Pop group to have the opportunity to appear at the annual music festival.
