Shocking news came from Alex who would leave DRIPPIN and the agency. On Friday, July 28, 2023, Woollim Entertainment released a statement announcing Alex's departure from the group and the termination of his contract.
In the announcement, the agency said, "First of all, we would like to thank the fans who have shown constant love and support to our artists. We would like to share our official position regarding the future of DRIPPIN member Alex.”
“We have had long discussions with Alex about his career and personal goals. After much deliberation with our company and his parents, Alex has decided to end his activities as a member of DRIPPIN and end his exclusive contract with us."
