Following the skyrocketing success of 'Mask Girl', one of its main stars, Go Hyun Jung who plays Kim Mo Mi shared some of her impressions of starring in the drama.

Kim Mo Mi is an office worker who lives a free life as a masked internet broadcasting jockey (BJ) who offers adult entertainment. However, his life is shattered after being caught in a murder case. Through Kim Mo Mi's life, Go Hyun Jung also freely revealed her own story, when she found comfort in her character who met her daughter for the first time after her life apart from her.
It should be noted, Go Hyun Jung lost custody of her children from her ex-husband who is the heir to the Shinsegae Group conglomerate and the grandson of the Samsung empire. Apart from finding similarities with Kim Mo Mi, Go Hyun Jung chose to appear in the work because it provides a realistic perspective on life.
The actress said, “I have passed through my teens and 40s. Now that I'm in my 50s, I want to play a character my age who has maturity." The drama 'Mask Girl' is well received by the public thanks to the beautiful story about a woman with a deep meaning. Another theme of this work is the motherly love of the key characters.
For Go Hyun Jung, the moment she reunited with her character's daughter was the most memorable for him. She revealed that she was involved with how her character should be portrayed. Go Hyun Jung made sure to appear as realistic as possible. “I decided not to say anything as Kim Mo Mi,” she revealed.
"She's such a tough character so I don't think she'll quickly sink into his own emotions before making sure everything's safe."
