On Wednesday, October 27 2021, Lucas made a splash for fans of NCT aka NCTzen and WayV aka WayZenNi. NCT's Lucas Weibo social media or WayV uploaded a new upload. This is actually surprising considering that Lucas was on hiatus due to a scandal a few months ago.
The upload contains news about another WayV member, Winwin, who is starring in the latest Chinese drama entitled 'The Shadow'. Even though he didn't report the news himself, Lucas' fans were still excited because they saw the idol's activities on social media. Unfortunately, the boisterous happiness of Lucas NCT fans didn't last long.
This is because the upload was deleted shortly after. Fans suspect that Lucas and Winwin's Weibo accounts are managed by SM Entertainment staff, the agency that oversees the boy group and made a mistake. The upload should have been uploaded on Winwin's Weibo account, not on Lucas' Weibo account.
The fans' suspicions came because the name Lucas could not be found by fans in the merch kit released recently by the agency that oversees the group, SM Entertainment. The group's merch kit, which consists of 23 people, is titled My Artist Card Pack. In the set of stickers included in the merch kit, there are only 22 members' names and Lucas's name is missing.
This is a big question for NCTzen. Many have speculated that SM Entertainment secretly kicked Lucas out of NCT because of the gaslighting scandal that had gone viral in August 2021. The Twitter account @ooooshiiim accused Lucas of treating his girlfriend inappropriately. Starting from cheating to asking for luxury goods.
Lucas has expressed his apology uploaded on his personal Instagram @ lucas_xx444. However, regarding allegations that Lucas was kicked out of NCT, SM Entertainment has yet to give an official statement. Fans also remember that the agency that also oversees AESPA once did something similar when Winwin left unit 127 without an official announcement.
