BTS' Suga has officially announced his mandatory military departure date this month. Quoting from Soompi on Sunday September 17, 2023, BIGHIT Music has officially announced Suga's mandatory military departure date, namely September 22, 2023. 

The following is the contents of the official statement letter from BIGHIT Music regarding Suga's mandatory military departure schedule. "Hello, this is BIGHIT Music. Thank you for your support for BTS. We will announce further information regarding member Suga's military service. 

He will start his mandatory military service on September 22 2023," explained BIGHIT Music. They continued, "There will be no special events on his departure date when he enters the military training center. We ask fans not to visit Suga at the military training center or while he is carrying out his duties."

Furthermore, BIGHIT Music asked fans to show their warm support for Suga through messages of encouragement. Apart from announcing Suga's mandatory military departure date, the agency also reminded fans to be more careful about illegal products or concert packages that use the names of their artists.

The agency will take firm legal action regarding commercial activities involving their artist's name without permission.
