At midnight on September 14, 2023, JINI's solo debut teaser was released. This marked the beginning of her career journey with the management of Sublime Artist Agency after leaving the JYP Entertainment Agency. JINI has actually been giving hints about her solo debut for some time.

She also actively communicates with her fans through his official social media accounts. Finally, the first teaser for her solo debut has been released. Quoted from the Instagram account @jiniyxxn, JINI has released a number of photos for the mini album entitled " An Iron Hand In A Velvet Glove ."

The first photo shows two hands wearing black velvet gloves, complete with ring accessories worn on several fingers. In another photo, JINI is photographed from the left side without showing her face at all. What is most striking is the large silver earrings that adorn her ears, in line with JINI's hair which has a white-gray ombre color.

The last photo only shows JINI's solo album logo and the album title. However, unfortunately, JINI has not explicitly revealed the release date in any photos he has shared. Apparently, fans will have to wait for some additional teasers before getting more details. JINI was previously known as the center in the group NMIXX, she is also a vocalist and is one of the most prominent dancers.

But unfortunately, not even a year after his debut, Jinni decided to leave the group. Jinni's last appearance with NMIXX was at MAMA 2022. Jinni spent 6 years as a trainee at JYP Entertainment before finally making her official debut with NMIXX.

She started her journey at the agency at the age of 16 in 2016. However, in December 2022, JYP Entertainment announced that Jinni had to leave the group due to personal reasons. As a result, the next NMIXX schedule will continue with only 6 members remaining, namely Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin.
